Staying at treetops b&b reminded me of a hidden gem! The double room was so cozy, and the views from our room were just fine. It's conveniently located near the otago peninsula. Brenda and wayne were warm hosts and even offered us tips on wildlife viewing.

I truly enjoyed the room, the bed was very comfy. The bathroom was good with a bath. Secluded location right by other attractions, and the local restaurant Cafe1908, it was in a great area. Also, I was around 10-15 minutes walk from Lighthouse.

Optimal selection for resting at a reasonable price in Portobello. The continental breakfast with local preserves was a good start to the day. Be sure to take advantage of the lovely views from the breakfast table.

The views from our room were amazing.
Unfortunately, the shower pressure was overwhelmingly strong. A locking mechanism on the door without needing a key would enhance security . Lastly, I found the lack of a warm breakfast option disappointing, which would have made the mornings more enjoyable.

Cozy stay with lovely views
We spent 2 nights in this cozy spot. Brenda was super friendly and gave us great tips for wildlife viewing! The breakfast was scrumptious, especially the croissants. Only thing was the road leading down was a bit steep for our tired legs after long walks. Totally loved our time here!

As young travelers, we absolutely loved our stay at Treetops B&B. the bed was so comfortable and the pillow was the perfect height for a good night's sleep. the shower head was fantastic and the homemade jelly was such a nice touch. the view from our room was breathtaking and we enjoyed watching the birdlife. the hosts were friendly, informative, and respected our privacy. the breakfast provided was delicious and fresh, and the inclusion of wifi was a great bonus. the amenities were excellent and the quality of the decor and building itself was top-notch. We couldn't have asked for a better base to explore the beautiful Otago peninsula.
Felt very welcomed, no complaints whatsoever.

We spent a couple of nights at Treetops in the stunning Otago Peninsula and it was a perfect getaway. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. The private entrance and terrace added a touch of privacy, and we loved listening to the beautiful birdsong in the garden. Brenda, the owner, provided us with helpful information about the peninsula and served a delicious breakfast tailored to our schedule. The location was ideal, with easy access to albatross viewing, sea lions, Larnach Castle, and picturesque beaches and hikes.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.
